What’s more is, product data in NBS Source connects seamlessly to NBS Chorus, the cloud based specification tool, allowing specifiers to drag and drop PPG & Johnstone’s Trade products directly into a project specification at the click of a button.

Collaborative coatings specification authoring

If your practice has a NBS Chorus license, you can now invite the PPG team into your projects. Through NBS Chorus, our team can work collaboratively with you to review, create and refine a coatings specification to speed up your digital workflow and make the design more efficient. We can also work with you to develop Master Specifications, so that your practice has access to up-to-date coatings specifications stored centrally in one place.

BIM ready product files

Critical to the golden thread, NBS Chorus integrates with BIM software solutions including Autodesk REVIT and IFC to link products to the 3D BIM Model. PPG Protective Coatings and Johnstone’s Trade BIM files are stored in NBS Source to support seamless transition from specification to 3D model to construction.
