We Drive Circular Economy

We are focused on minimising the generation of waste and study our processes to find opportunities to eliminate, reduce, reuse or recycle the waste. We focus on trying not to create any waste, but if we do, we send zero waste to landfill. We work closely with our waste disposal partners to find the most sustainable disposable option, which may be recycling or energy recovery.

In our drive to become more circular we work with our suppliers to limit packaging waste and where possible send back our packaging for them to reuse. Our obsolete paint is either reworked by ourselves or recycled through a paint recycler, very little paint becomes a waste that needs to be disposed.

Cardboard Reprocessing

For packaging we can’t send back to the supplier we try to find reuse options or send for reprocessing. One of the schemes we use is Reuseabox who take our cardboard boxes and find a market for them. Since starting this scheme over 177, 000 boxes have been reused, saving over 60 Tonne of new cardboard which has saved 277 trees from being chopped down!

Recycled Content Packaging  

We aim to continually look at improving the levels of recycled content used across our products and packaging. Currently all of our plastic packaging is made using a minimum of 30% PCR (Post-Consumer Resources).
